| Name : | Marzanna |
| Age : | 26 |
| Pronouns : | She/Her They/ Them He/Him |
| Voice : | Claim to come!! |
| Appearance : | Their appearance changes as they themselves do, though certain aspects always remain the same between them. The shape of their face, the way they smile - and even much of the way they speak. Selene's feminine figure is far too pronounced to rid themselves entirely of when they become Vanyel - leaving the boy with more curves than the average man. |
Selene, Vanyel, and Others; all of these are but one aspect of a whole. A single shadow on the wall - showing the outline of the true form that lies beyond. The true form, Marzanna - is the whole from which the shadows are cast. A form lost to time, one the few ever get to see.
Broad Strokes Storyline Thus Far
What began as a simple lust for power, an average desire among most people - quickly became a life-altering decision. Marzanna found herself alone in the woods, dancing around a pile of old animal bones like some kind of fool. When the fog descended upon her, she believed that she had found what she was looking for - but in truth, she lost herself. The child that appeared through the fog offered power, the power of a changeling - the power to be whoever she wanted to be. A scar across her chest, a wound self inflicted - remained as a permanent mark upon her body. Finally she could leave behind the chains of her previous life, all of the things she had done wrong; all of the people she had killed. She wouldn't have to deal with any of it, not if she was someone else; someone better.Selene was that better person - a Doctor, the Healer that Marzanna was trained to be from birth. A Witch, which she had always wanted to be. And, above all else - a kind person; which she could no longer bring herself to be. It worked for a time, but before long the cracks began to show. Jealous, Pride, and Envy all reared their heads. Selene was a cheerful, friendly person - but often marred with moments of bitter anger, hatred and evil acts that scared even Marzanna to see happen. Selene was meant to be better, to be everything that Marzanna couldn't - and yet fate brought her to the same depths once again.Another deal with the Fae was struck, a chance to truly live as this new person, and fully give up their old habits. It worked for a while, casting aside the person Marzanna once was. Selene lived a happy life, even found what she thought was love. But... as all good things that come as a result of a Fae's deal - it all came crashing down. Marzanna was still Marzanna, she had just given up her original skin; and for what? Nothing, really. A cruel trick, one that changed the trajectory of her life entirely. She needed to rise above this, to reflect - and not carry around the burdens of who she once was.Vanyel was her route to doing this, a new face - a sweet young boy who could be what she had always wished men to be; valiant, handsome, and kind - loving, not controlling. She could be to women what men had never offered her, and strike out on a new life, a precious fresh start for this troubled being. Vanyel was a friend to all those in the Spire, all those he could manage to be, at least. He was a protector, a strong force for good in the Spire. He didn't even bear the scar that had brought them this power in the first place. The cracks still showed through on occasion, revealing the true bitterness that festered deep within. Despite this, Vanyel was able to thrive - to expand their horizons, to experience more of life than either of them had been able to before.[To be Continued...]

My muse, my love - for you my flame burns brightest. A truly spectacular woman, one for whom no other comes close. You have seen the truest version of myself - and not shirked away, but embraced it. When I tell you that I would do anything for you, I mean it. We have both already accomplished so much in life - but I hope that together, we can do so much more. Anything, in my mind - is possible, so long as we're together.
Esta
---
One of the most lovely people that I've known in this Spire. Your smile brightens up a room, and your presence betters any situation you're found in.
Helara
---
An oddly mixed feeling. When I am Selene, the hate I hold for you is unmatched - likely fueled by your own hate for me. When I am Vanyel, however... I can see the methods by which you operate. That new perspective gives me a new outlook - one where I can admire your skills as a leader.
Maliketh
---
A solid soldier, and a servant of the Lady of the Lake. Someone Vanyel can look up to - and, someone kind enough not to call the guards when I appeared out of a reflection in your attic.
Hazel Smokewood
---
An interesting character, one who I cannot quite pin down. Your dedication to Cadayle both infuriates me, and warms my heart. You're a true friend to her when I cannot be, and... despite how I may feel, it is good to know someone can be.
Bracchus Talltusk
---
A wise person, and kind at heart - though he is suspicious of me, I can't help but understand. It comes from a good place, though I hope that perhaps one day we can overcome this gap between us.
Cadayle
---
What was once love has turned, and rotted - into a seething hatred. I will see you suffer, as I have. If it takes my last breath, I will bring you to the lowest depths you've known, and then I will bring you further down.
Gwenna
---
A beautiful woman, strong and wonderfully brilliant. Though you don't have much direction in this world, I know that in time you will do great things. It pains me however, that you seek only one of my shadows - and spurn the others.
Mera
---
One of my oldest friends, and the first person in the spire to know my true nature. You were there for me when no one else was, and I won't forget that.
Falliren
---
A pompus, bard. You claim to be a knight - and I want more than anything to put you in your place. Despite this, I did find our first bout entertaining, even if I didn't lose. I look forward to fighting you again, and proving who the real knight is after all.
Seley
---
A youth, a brilliant child. I see a great future for you, yet... I too see you going down the same path that I have. That scares me, that the generations to come may fall into the same traps that the ones past have.
Elreyna
---
A kind, and dutiful doctor. One of the few people in the spire who are wholly dedicated to making the lives of others better. Truly, she is who Selene wished she could be.
Marguerite
---
Interesting and funny, a Witch in her own right. She doesn't let her blindness be a detriment to her life - something that is truly admirable. I want very much to get to know her better.
